AddressLMS Energy is Australia’s largest emissions reducer and the national leader in biogas-to-energy and solar on landfill. LMS requires the services of a full-time or part-time Controls Technician in Prospect, SA.
As part of our team, you will collaborate with the Supervisor - Controls Engineering where your role will primarily involve designing, developing, and maintaining control systems.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems using Allen-Bradley CompactLogix processors and Citect SCADA
- Maintain existing control systems that use Allen-Bradley (Logix and SLC500), Horner (CSCAPE), Siemens S7 and Red Lion Modular Controller platforms
- Develop communication systems using Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, HART protocol, CANbus and various HMI systems
- Develop control system design documentation covering specifications, control philosophy, I/O lists, cause and effect and scopes of work
- Develop commissioning plans, schedules, conduct testing and verification at supplier and on-site
- Apply knowledge and technical understanding in the field of electrical engineering
- Prepare data sheets, instrumentation setting sheets, material schedules, component sourcing, technical reports and operator manuals
- Provide technical support to the Operations Group and assist in the national Control Centre
- Co-ordinate and supervise contractors for outsourced work, including during installation and commissioning phases
Requirements:
- +5 years of relevant working experience in a similar industry
- Licensed Electrician and/or Instrumentation Technician
- Familiar with SCADA products, such as Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA, AVEVA
- Australian Drivers Licence
