Role Summary
You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of property settlement transactions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, while providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough review of contract and land title searches to verify ownership and identify restrictions, encumbrances, and settlement requirements
- Prepare and lodge all documents required for property settlements in Western Australia
- Coordinate with financial institutions, clients, and other agents to schedule settlement within the timeframe specified
- Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met, such as obtaining ATO clearance certificates and verification of identity
- Provide clear and concise communication to all parties involved in the transaction
- Manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Qualifications / Experience
- A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in conveyancing and settlement processes
- Proven track record of successfully managing a high volume of matters with precision and adherence to strict deadlines
- Industry qualifications / Settlement Agent Licence favourable
Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of property law and the conveyancing process in Western Australia
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficient in conveyancing software and technologies, such as PEXA, ROL, and Setts Plus
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
