SalaryDue to the ongoing expansion of Rubberline, a Industry Leading conveyor Installation & Servicing company, we have multiple new full time roles available for the right candidates, these include: Conveyor Belt Technicians, Belt Splicers, Rubber Liners, Trainees & Trades Assistants
These positions are NOT FIFO Roles. Based in Victoria, you will work with our close-knit team of skilled employees to service a wide range of customers, throughout Victoria.
We are looking for Conveyor Belt Technicians, Belt Splicers, Rubber Liners who can meet the following criteria:
- Skilled and experienced in the trade
- Sound conveyor product knowledge
- Ability to identify, repair and replace damaged Conveyor Belts and rubber components.
- Proficient in the use of trade specific tools.
- Experienced in the application of glues and adhesives.
- Basic mechanical aptitude
We are looking for Trainee/Trades Assistants who can meet the following criteria:
- Willingness to learn
- Follows instructions and isn't afraid to ask questions
- Looking to grow and build a long term career within the industry
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Tasks
- Install new belts to conveyor systems
- Perform hot and cold splicing & repairs
- Identify common belt damage/faults and determine method of repair
- Basic rigging
- Replacing and maintaining conveyor components such as roller, skirt & scrapers
- Inspections and audits of conveyor systems
- Manufacture of industry specific components onsite & in workshop
- Rubber lining
What you bring:
- Strong work ethic.
- Current drivers licence
- Be able to safely work in an industrial environment.
- Working at Heights, Confined Space and EWP tickets highly regarded.

Base salary: $70,000 to $100,000 depending on experience
