Thompson Health Care Boronia House Nursing Home is seeking a Cook to join the team. This will be a permanent position and this person will work within an established, dynamic and efficient team. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who has a positive attitude and are passionate to work with the elderly. This is a great opportunity to work in a growing industry and in a rewarding role.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Assist in the preparation of food and serving of meals
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work well with staff
- Commitment to providing quality services to residents
- Knowledge of infection control procedures
- Experience in catering/ kitchen hand
- General kitchen cleaning and maintenance
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Food safety experience in a healthcare setting desirable
