Torotoro Ramen Bar is seeking an experienced cook to join our team in Barangaroo NSW 2000 on Full Time basis.
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate experiences and skills in the following duties:
• Operate the kitchen in a fast, smooth, efficient and tidy way to meet customer expectations;
• Measuring and weighing ingredients;
• Prepare and cook food and sauces in accordance with orders, including cooking methods like poached, rostered, sauté, deep fried, grilled and fried, etc.;
• Prepare and cook sauces and seasoning;
• Assess and monitor quality of food preparation and food storage and check stock regularly;
• Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, grills and other cooking equipment etc.
• Presenting and garnishing dishes;
• Follow special dietary requirements as per booking;
• Demonstrate your cooking techniques and provide advice on improvement of menus, cooking procedures and kitchen management;
• Adhering to kitchen hygiene and safety standards;
• Train other kitchen staff if required.
