Cook/Commis Chef – 4am shift – Artarmon Location
Cold canapés and rice paper rolls and fruit
Casual role - 24-38 hours per week Monday to Friday
Vanilla Blue is an award-winning corporate caterer that delivers over 100 orders to clients in greater Sydney daily. We are looking for a Commis Chef or cook to join our early morning team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, and punctual, and join us as a responsible chef or experienced cook to produce canapes and cold dishes.

Job Details
- $35 per hour plus superannuation
- Staff meals and beverages to enjoy with each shift during your break.
- Monday to Friday early morning hours must be able to start at 4am.
- Artarmon Location. On street parking available
- Uniform shirt/jacket and apron provided.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Make a variety of Canapes, rice paper rolls and Hors d'oeuvre
- Prep, cut, and cook fruit, vegetables, and meats for salads and platters.
- Prepare frittatas, tacos, tarts and blinis
- Prepare dressings and sauces for recipes.
- Basic cleaning and tidying up after yourself.
- Ability to work autonomously after initial training, this role will operate within a small team, sometimes requiring autonomous work.
- An energetic and enthusiastic approach to catering and bulk production
- Great eye for detail and quality control
- Be punctual, reliable and, a great communicator
- Clean worker with great attention to food hygiene and work safety.
