Form of workHi there! Are you looking to wind down a little with a tree change, or can we pull you out of retirement possibly, or are you studying but looking for part time chef position, or basically happy to work approximately 23hrs p/w.
We are, The Courthouse Hotel in Jamieson, a pretty town in Victoria, surrounded by mountains and rivers.
The position entails right hand kitchen/cook to head chef on a Friday and Saturday nights, and sole chef for two days during the week, which we will discuss with you. At this stage it would be Sunday night, Monday lunch/tea and Tuesday prep and lunch, any fill in shifts, and more hours over long weekends, school holidays etc.
The Applicant must possess chef experience, be able to cook off a menu, can work alone at times, which includes dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and possibly aiding in the ordering of stock. At times, there may be up to 30 or 40 meals, at other times it is quiet. We do have support staff.
We offer good wages and fully equipped accommodation and all meals are provided when you are rostered on.
