Tatong Tavern family-owned business renowned for its location, heritage, food and beverages. Situated at Tatong, we take pride in providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors alike. We are 20 minutes south of Benalla.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Cook and a kitchenhand to join our awesome team. You will work with other kitchen staff and assist in the preparation, cooking, plating, and serving of our food. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, maintain composure under pressure during busy periods, and demonstrate attention to detail.
Schedule: From 20/03/2024
Casual work at this stage - Part time or Full Time possible in near future
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Ensure food is plated and presented attractively and in a timely manner.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience working as a Cook or Kitchenhand in a similar environment.
Valid food safety qualifications are mandatory.
RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification preferred / nonessential.
Barista skills, but nonessential and training can be provided.
