About the Role – Coordinator Community Learning and Programs

- General Officer Level 5 / $96,928 to $101,201 (FTE) plus superannuation
- Part time (0.8 FTE), Permanent
- Our team works across a 7-day roster. The incumbent will work one weekend shift every month
Reporting to the Manager Libraries and Customer Service, you will lead the Community Learning and Programs team and coordinate the development and delivery of programs, activities and events that support literacy development, lifelong Learning and community wellbeing.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- The ability to lead, develop and coach a team to achieve strategic and operational outcomes
- Tertiary qualifications (bachelor degree or graduate diploma) in a related field such as library studies or education
- Knowledge of traditional and digital literacy
- Demonstrated experience in the facilitation of programs and/or event coordination
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
This is a prescribed position. As part of Adelaide Hills Council’s Safe Environments Policy, a current Working with Children Check, and undertaking Child Safe Environment Training every three years, are requirements of the position.
A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the Council’s requirements will be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
