Haysare looking for an experienced In to join a close-knit regional Local Government andsupport the Manager Engineering in the coordination of strategic engineeringservices. This exciting opportunity will enable you to relocate to this vibrantregional centre and support the City in achieving their goal of being thesustainable regional city of the future.

Your new role 

Reporting to theManager Engineering, in this role you will be responsible for determining thestrategic framework for engineering services within the City includingStrategic Road Planning, cycle network planning, stormwater catchment analysis,and drainage planning, traffic analysis and planning, footpath network planningand streetlight analysis and planning. Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Producing relevant and sound engineering strategic plans for full range of infrastructure asses
• Determining works programmes in alignment with infrastructure requirements as determined by strategic plans
• Long Term Financial Plan determination for the provision of new, renewal and upgrade of all engineering assets for at least a 15 year period
• Coordinating responses to private residential, industrial and commercial development applications, structural plan submissions and subdivision applications
• Managing grant funding palpations, reporting and acquittals in relation to engineering infrastructure projects
• Presenting strategic plans to council to detail technical requirements, projects and associated funding requirements

What you'll need to succeed 

To be successful inthis role you will need:

• Tertiary qualifications in a discipline relevant to the position
• Current National Police Clearance
• Current WA "C" Class driver's license
• Experience in engineering infrastructure design and strategic Infrastructure Planning, specifically roads, drainage, traffic engineering, pavements and cost estimating
