Job description:
THE ROLE
We a seeking a Junior Engineer with Civil or Rail experience to join our site-based project team in Canning Vale WA supporting the delivery of METRONET project Thornlie-Cockburn Link (TCL) - as part of NEWest Alliance, a multidisciplinary collaboration between DT Infrastructure and CPB.
Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with our experienced project team, you will provide technical support to ensure that project designs meet operational requirements and specified engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in materials co-ordination and management, free-issuing of materials, tracking etc,.
- Quality management including managing non-conforming materials and works and facilitating rectification in a timely manner.
- Assisting in sub-contract management, RFI management, scope management, assisting in progress tracking, resolving technical issues, etc.
- Work collaboratively to ensure compliance safety policies and procedures
- Develop strategic alliances with suppliers and subcontractors
- Maintain effective relationships to manage client expectations

ABOUT YOU
- Minimum degree qualification in Engineering
- Demonstrated construction delivery experience on public infrastructure/rail projects
- Problem solving ability for best project outcomes
- Understanding of scope & design requirements
- Well-developed verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
