About the Role
The Engineering Coordinator role is responsible in providing strong and dynamic leadership to the Design, Infrastructure and road services Units along with assisting in the delivery of Council’s programs
Duties
Drive and manage civil engineering investigations to drive the Council's Capital Works program.
Responsible for scoping for external funded projects.
Liaise with the Manager of Engineering Services to plan and execute major and impactful projects.
Contribute to the expansion of the Council's infrastructure
Oversee activities conducted by the Design, Infrastructure, and Road Services units
Deputize the Manager of Engineering Services whenever needed.
Drive a culture of safety and compliance, in strict accordance with relevant Australian Standards and Codes of Practice.
Essential requirements
Chartered and nationally registered (NER) with Engineering Australia
Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 8 years’ experience in the fields of principal design, construction, and project management fields
Excellent technical skills - computer literate with extensive experience with 12D, and AutoCAD
Demonstrated strong leadership skills
Knowledge and experience in managing projects from start to end.
Valid driver’s license
Valid National Police Check
Full Australian work rights or an Australian working Visa - We cannot offer sponsorship
