About the role
Based in our Head office in Essendon Fields, an excellent career opportunity exists for an experienced Field Service Engineerwho has a strong desire to contribute and participate in the exciting opportunities arising within a dynamic, technology business with growth and expansion plans.
Working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders, this position is responsible for providing technical and operational support to the Engineering and Service Delivery Teams to successfully support installation of Elenium's self-service solutions to airports and airlines globally. Additionally, the role is responsible for the analytical triaging and resolving of customer issues within tight SLA timeframes.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Provide Field Service support for all products delivered to customer sites.
- Provide technical support (Level 1 and Level 2) for our deployed products across multiple channels, to include ServiceNOW, Jira and telepphone.
- Installation, testing, commissioning of hardware and software solutions.
- Conduct preventative maintenance works on deployed products.
- Assist with product assembly and testing.
- Status reporting and ticket management.
Frequent domestic and international travel will be required for this role.

Skills and experience
Experience
- Must be an Australian Citizen or have Permanent Residency.
- Electronic/Electrical qualification
- 5+ years experience in a Field Service role
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, preferably working with software integration and hardware assembly.
- Experience in installing, configuring and managing Operating Systems and Computing Devices.
- Tech Support and Preventative Maintenance experience
- Can work to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Must have a passport and be willing to travel both domestically and internationally.
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to maintain excellent relationships with a range of key stakeholders.
- Good organisational skills with an ability to plan and prioritise competing work requirements and work towards tight deadlines.
- Adaptable and able to work autonomously and in dynamic, fast paced team environment.
- Proactive and reactive problem solving skills with an ability to “think outside the box”
Bonus Points for the Following:
- A-Grade electrical license
- ITIL, CCNA Certification or equivalent.
