Job description
In this management role, you will be responsible for children, young people and their families experiencing or at risk of experiencing vulnerability. The Family Connect Support program will assist families who could benefit from support to address and prevent the escalation of current issues.
Full time, permanent position (35 hours per week)
Salary from $96,133 pa, plus applicable penalty rates, super and generous salary options
About the Role
Leading and managing the Ongoing Case Coordination team to meet funding, performance requirements as well as supervise a small team of caseworkers
Comprehensive knowledge of the SWS district wide service system in a way that benefits and supports children, young people and their families
Ensure that all children, young people and their families who are transitioned to the Case Coordination team receive referral support, short term casework, case management and active holding responses that are appropriate and complexity
Ensure that all children, young people and families have case plans in that are responsive to their complexity and needs

About You
Relevant social work degree with relevant management experience
Significant experience working with children, young people and their families
Demonstrated experience in case work, case management and coordination within the child and family context
Demonstrated understanding of the child protection framework
Experiencing in developing and maintaining systems, processes and practice frameworks that promote quality service delivery
Experience in the analysis of data and preparing data reports as part of program requirements
Even better
Extensive knowledge of the service system within SWS
Experience working with and managing services delivery for young people affected by mental health
