Provides leadership and direction in all facets of Nursing service and practice in the area of Service 4 at Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Group (FSFHG) under operational responsibility. Contributes to decision making on whole of service issues, including the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans to ensure the provision of personalised, safe, effective and timely care for all patients/families. Overseeing the management of human, financial and material resources consistent with hospital policy and clinical practice standards and organisation vision and mission. Collaborating with the Nurse Director Service 4 and the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services on matters relating to the development and evaluation of Nursing practice and standards of care.This position, based at Fremantle Hospital, provides extensive leadership and management of contemporary nursing services in the specialties of gerontology, general medicine and rehabilitation. The successful applicant will demonstrate knowledge and experience in the care of the older adult and will play a significant role in the development and delivery of a centre of excellence model for Fremantle Hospital. The position contributes to decision making across the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Group remit of service 4, including the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans to ensure the provision of personalised, safe, effective and timely care for all patients/families. Responsibilities include overseeing the management of human, financial and material resources consistent with hospital policy, clinical practice standards and organisation vision and mission.
