VenuesWest is looking for an experienced technical events specialist to coordinate the planning and delivery of back of house requirements and liaise with production companies and clients to interpret events & bookings technical requirements for lighting, sound, stage, audio-visual, and floor plans to ensure the safe and effective presentation and running of events including sporting and concert events.The Technical Operations Coordinator coordinates the set up and operation of all booking specifications and provides specialist advice to staff, management and our clients. This is a hands-on role involved in the physical set-up of events, operation of technical equipment and supervision of technical equipment service scheduling.This fulltime permanent role is based at HBF Stadium in Mt Claremont, however mobility will be required between our portfolio of venues. The role is required to work outside normal business hours on a regular basis to meet event requirements.What We Offer

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated previous experience and working knowledge in the planning, set up and delivery of all back of house requirements for events with specific experience in the set-up, operation and maintenance of technical equipment including audio vision, sound, IT and/or lighting equipment.The following qualifications are essential for this role:
- WA Construction Industry White Card (Work Safely in the Construction Industry); or capacity to complete within 1 month of commencement.
- WorkSafe ‘License to Perform High Risk Work’ for Advanced Rigging (RA); or capacity to complete within 3 months of commencement.
- Computer Aided Design competency (i.e. AutoCad Light or similar); or capacity to complete within 3 months of commencement.
