The role:
Aqualink Nunawading is seeking the services of an experienced and highly organised Operations Coordinator to join our management team. You will make your mark incorporating industry best practice, exemplary service delivery and strong leadership.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the Duty Manager, Lifeguard and Programs teams ensuring the smooth running of the Centre. Central to the role is responsibility for the recruitment, induction and training and supervision of the aquatic staff as well as the management of various contracts including cleaning, security, waste and pool plant.
About you:
This position is an integral part of the centre management team and the successful applicant will also have excellent written, verbal communication and work prioritisation skills and work well as part of a team. Previous experience in a similar role with staff leadership and supervision are essential.
You will have:
- Demonstrated successful experience and achievement in aquatic operations.
- Demonstrated experience and achievement in team supervision, performance management and staff training and development.
- Demonstrated ability in resolving complex operational problems relating to the aquatic operations area.
- Demonstrated successful time management and work prioritisation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in the management of contractors.
