COORDINATOR PROCUREMENT & FLEET Based in Bannockburn, great location and an easy drive from Geelong, Ballarat and Melbourne with free onsite parkingPermanent full time role with opportunity to grow Monthly ADO Salary between $102,000-$114,000 (dependant on experience) + super Golden Plains Shire Council provides a workplace where people matter, communities are connected, and the future is bright. We are seeking a Coordinator Procurement & Fleet to continue leading Golden Plains Shire Council in striving for best practise contract and procurement management along with supporting our fleet services function.This role will provide you the opportunity to:Be the organisation’s specialist advisor on Council’s contract, procurement and fleet activities.Provide a framework for the end-to-end procurement process including templates, mandatory steps and processes to facilitate compliance with the Local Government Act and Council policies, ensuring governance and local government probity requirements are met.Provide a framework for the end-to-end procurement process including templates, mandatory steps and processes to facilitate compliance with the Local Government Act and Council policies, ensuring governance and local government probity requirements are met.Manage Council’s procurement system and processes ensuring they are maintained and in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act, Council policies and procedures.Provide Fleet Services to the organisation acting as custodian for pool vehicles organising insurance, registration, servicing and maintenance for plant and vehicles.Our ideal candidate will have:Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or extensive contract administration and/or procurement experience.Demonstrated experience in interpretation and application of relevant procurement, tendering and/or contract management principles, best practice, techniques and legislation.Substantive experience and technical expertise in government contract and procurement requirements.Demonstrated ability to mentor, support and lead a team effectively to deliver and achieve business plan objectives. Proficiency in the use of financial, fleet and procurement software systems, including budgeting techniques.Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with senior management and key internal and external stakeholders to work cooperatively on complex projects. Demonstrated understanding of fleet management processes and systems including fleet replacement of light vehicle and heavy plant.* Don’t meet every single requirement?
