ROLE
The Procurement & Contracts Coordinator is the glue that holds the team together, someone who is always willing to help support the project management teams across the business in facilitating Procurement & contract management activities.
You will be provided with training at the start of this contract to help set you up for success but then you will be able to manage your own desk in terms of delivery.
Specifically, you will:
- Plan, implement and manage a range of procurement services including coordination of tendering documentation, tender evaluations and award phases of the procurement process and ensuring execution of all contract documentation including electronic filing and archiving
- Undertake the input and analysis of data to identify issues/risks, including ensuring effective security, storage and distribution of data, records and reports
- Provide sound and timely specialist advice and support to other staff, customers and stakeholders in relation to procurement and contracts activities
- Build and sustain effective working relationships with a network of colleagues, customers and other stakeholders, collaborating closely to support and facilitate efficient service delivery
We are looking for an experienced individual, preferably coming from a projects background within a construction or infrastructure environment. You will have experience in managing multiple tasks across multiple stakeholders at any one time with high organisation and administration skills. You will be a fast learner who can take feedback well and run autonomously whilst also being able to put your hand up in a timely manner should you need support.
Specifically we want:
- Strong organisational and administration skills from a Procurement & contract environment
- Preferably you will have experience supporting construction or infrastructure categories in an organisation where there is high volume
- Experience in contracts and highly developed written skills
- Fast learner
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
