Salary Level HEW 7 ($94,838 - $102,657) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working

About the Role
As the Coordinator, Student Led Activities, you will coordinate a large program of student-Led Activities to help students feel prepared, connected and engaged outside the classroom to drive a sense of community and belonging. This role involves co-designing and executing a diverse range of activities alongside a team of dedicated student leaders. You will play a crucial role in nurturing a vibrant campus life, working closely with internal stakeholders and community partners to elevate student engagement and contribute to the overall success of RMIT students.
You will also have a focus on triaging and enabling student ideas and projects, ensuring they align with our goals of fostering leadership and participant growth. This role reports directly to the Manager, Student Partnerships & Engagement and involves general supervision of 3 direct reports plus student volunteers and casual staff as required.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
Demonstrated experience in coordinating and delivering a diverse and inclusive engagement program within a University or equivalent community.
Experience managing/supervising volunteer and casual staff.
Commitment to developing and maintaining pathways for student voice and involvement in the planning, management and delivery of programs.
Demonstrated commitment to measuring customer experience satisfaction and adjusting strategies in response to feedback and changing priorities, in a service delivery environment.
Ability to follow systems and processes for financial management, including tracking of revenue and expenditure against a budget.
Demonstrated understanding and commitment to diversity, inclusion and reconciliation.
Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or relevant professional experience at a similar level.
Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
