Opportunity to bolster our Groundwater Operations team
We're currently on the lookout for a proactive and dynamic Coordinator – Treatment Operations, based in Gwelup. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our Groundwater Operations team by overseeing the operation of groundwater abstraction schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Groundwater operational teams in ensuring compliance with DG regulations, and oversee chemical delivery processes, including administration, validation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Groundwater operational teams to meet production strategy targets for water quality and quantity, aligning with corporate objectives.
- Manage Water Quality Management System (WQMS), Water Sampling, and Level monitoring programs through meticulous work planning and scheduling.
- Contribute to the development of technical reports on Groundwater Production and Treatment processes, utilizing Operational Technologies such as Power BI and PI AF.
- Ensure governance reporting on sampling compliance.
- Handle stakeholder and customer relations pertaining to Treatment Operations, liaising with the Operations Centre, Drinking Water Quality Business Unit, and other relevant Operations & Maintenance departments.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, coupled with extensive experience in the Operation and Maintenance of Water Treatment schemes, or significant experience and Certificate-level training in this field.
- Proficiency in Water Quality Management System (WQMS), Water Resource Management Strategy, Water Abstraction, Operating license conditions, and Dangerous Goods compliance.
- Demonstrated ability in technical report writing.
- Proven track record in effectively addressing inquiries from both internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Strong computing skills with a sound understanding of the Microsoft suite of systems.
- Familiarity with ODSS, SCADA, WQMS, SAP/Maximo.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct field sampling and possess relevant sampling qualifications to support the team.
