NEPEAN Building & Infrastructure (a division of NEPEAN™) represents iconic brands - Galintel®, Weldlok® and Galserv® which services industries across Civil, Architectural, Mining, Construction and Galvanising.
This position will report directly to Weldlok’s State Sales Manager. Weldlok has been designing and suppling grating, handrailing and steel flooring to the infrastructure, civil, mining and fabrication industries for over 60 years.
Our Opportunity
To support our ongoing growth, Weldlok is recruiting an experienced Business Development Manager that will oversee clients across Western and Northern NSW. This position can be based in the Sydney, Greater Sydney, or surrounding regional areas in NSW that allows the business to service our regional clients. This is a full-time position. Duties may include:
- Identify and build relationships with prospective customers, focusing on major, long-term projects.
- Attend networking events including trade shows if required.
- Champion the Weldlok business by developing innovative ways to improve the customer’s experience.
- Manage your travel diary, ensuring all customers across NSW are effectively supported.
- Enhance relationships with existing customer base.
- Ensure all customers are aware of all new products and services.
Future opportunities within the group may also present for the right candidate.
The Right Person
The ideal candidate will be a Sales professional with the ability to expand their portfolio in regional NSW in the Steel/Manufacturing Industry. This candidate will be able to travel across NSW as requested and work autonomously to meet individual targets. To be considered for this opportunity, the right person will have:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar Sales or Account Management role.
- Previous experience in Building, Steel or Heavy Steel Industry, ideally in a sales position or similar
- The ability to travel across all of Western and Northern NSW as directed.
- Proven ability to meet monthly targets and organising personal travel diary.
- Relevant Trade Qualification or Engineering Degree would also be highly regarded.
- Valid Driver’s License.
