Behaviour Wellbeing is a NDIS Registered Provider with a dedicated team servicing Southern Adelaide and the Fleurieu Peninsula. We are a small company and intend to remain so. We believe in investing our time and expertise in delivering realistic and practical supports to achieve real success and improve the quality of life for our participants. We work collaboratively with all supports involved with the intention to build a cohesive team with the participant at the core. We assist staff to upskill to build their knowledge base.

About YOUR New Role
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Behaviour Wellbeing, your day may include:
· Visiting NDIS participants, assessing their behaviours and needs, developing Behaviour Support Plans and advocating on their behalf.
· Ongoing support and intervention aligned to the prescribed Behavioural Support Plans as well as recommendations for plan improvement.
· Making a long-term difference to participants with a range of challenges, including intellectual disabilities, communication difficulties, mental health disorders, complex care, emotional regulation difficulties, and Behaviours of Concern including Restrictive Practices.
· Training and supporting colleagues, providers, and families to implement Behaviour Support Plans and related strategies.
· Collaborating with your team, stakeholders, and family/guardians.
· Keeping the participant at the centre of all you do.
· Taking advantage of professional development opportunities.

· You have lived experience or professional experience supporting people living with a disability and their families.
· You understand Restrictive Practices and the role of the Quality and Safeguards Commission.
· You have tertiary qualifications in Education, Developmental Education, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Graduate Certificate in PBS, or equivalent.
· You have your own reliable car and a valid driver’s license.
· You can provide evidence of current Core NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner Authority, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and FLU vaccination, or willingness to obtain these documents prior to onboarding.
