The Role
Reporting to the Manager - Corporate Finance, this role will be involved in all aspects of financial reporting including the accurate completion of monthly group financial accounts, budgeting, and forecasting.
The preparation of annual financial reports for the Group and its subsidiaries is also a key aspect of the Corporate finance team deliverables and this role will be supporting this activity. A strong understanding of current accounting standards is therefore critical. In addition, you will have the opportunity to play an important role in streamlining and improving existing models and reporting processes
This role is for a fixed-term period of six months

Key responsibilities
- Completion of business unit monthly reporting requirements and its financial analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of the Annual Financial Report for the Group and its subsidiaries.
- Assist with capex & accounts reconciliations
- Provide ad hoc analysis and project work as required.
- Business or Commerce Degree in Accounting
- CA or CPA Status (at minimum studying towards)
- SAP expereince would be an advantage but is not a requirement
- Practical skill in Power BI and/or OneSource tool desirable
- A minimum of 4 Years accounting experience.
- Understanding of statutory reporting requirements, AIFRS and its interpretation.
- Strong computer literacy in MS Office (particularly Excel)
- Big 4 auditor or second-tier experience desirable
