We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Financial Accountant, as a permanent position, to join a vibrant team with a continuous improvement mindset.
In this new role, reporting to the Financial Accounting Team Leader – Group Entities, this role has an exciting mix of reporting finance responsibilities and is an important business partner to Group Finance team. This role is part of the larger Group Shared Services Finance team.
The Corporate Financial accountant will hold the following core responsibilities:
- Business partnering with other shared services team members, Public hospitals accountants and Group Finance
- Management of end-to-end accounting processes for Group corporate entities including:
- Month end accounting and journals posting in D365 ERP
- Balance sheet accounts reconciliations
- Preparation of financial reports
- Assistance in the preparation of year end statutory accounts
- facilitating intercompany charges and confirmations with divisional finance teams
- ABS reporting
- FBT reporting
- Credit cards reconciliation (for a limited time)
- Other ad hoc duties as required
- Fully or partially qualified CA or CPA with strong academic record.
- Experience working in a Group accounting team and or prior corporate accounting experience.
- Experience providing data analysis and reporting to mixed business stakeholders
- Experience working in financial core systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience in PowerBI is desirable
