Benefits

Responsibility: 

• Administer vaccines in compliance with the National Standards established by the National Health & Medical Research Council, as well as the relevant regulations of the state Department of Health, guidelines, and organizational policies and procedures.
• Travel between various offices and client locations throughout the day as required.
• Update and enhance knowledge of immunization skills, CPR, and Anaphylaxis training annually.
• Maintain accurate records of immunizations, vaccine supplies, and consumables.
• Monitor the cold chain and storage of vaccines meticulously, promptly reporting and managing any identified breaches of the cold chain.
• Implement necessary precautions to prevent incidents or wastage effectively.
• Ensure all tasks are performed in strict adherence to legislative, industrial, and organizational policy requirements and standards, particularly in the realm of Work Health and Safety.

Must Have

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Nurse immunizer qualifications
• Current CPR certificate and anaphylaxis training
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Full Driver License
