What you will need to be successful:
- Prior experience in Human Resources and/or a qualification in a relevant field (or currently studying).
- Excellent computer skills, especially Excel and SharePoint. HR systems knowledge would be advantageous.
- High level of attention to detail along with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and strong interpersonal skills to influence a variety of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Can-do attitude and ability to problem solve.
- Ability to obtain a police clearance and Working with Children check.
Duties include:
- Participation in all aspects of the end-to-end employee life cycle, from recruitment, on-boarding, contract changes, compliance through to off-boarding.
- Working collaboratively with the broader support team encompassing HR, Finance, and Operations management.
- Maintenance of HR records and systems, ensuring all relevant documentation is completed for compliance.
- Working with Payroll to ensure deadlines are met and everyone gets paid accurately and on time.
- Administration of a range of HR team responsibilities including staff safety incident reporting, workers compensation claims, claims for Trainee incentives, and visa sponsorship applications.
- Supporting annual performance development and salary review, and planning cycles.
- Assisting with reporting and analytics.
- Keeping up to date with relevant laws and regulations related to HR and ensuring that policies and practices are compliant.
- Assisting in the implementation of HR initiatives, including training and development, systems improvements and employee recognition and benefits programs.
