SalaryPremier Health is excited to be partnering with our National Corporate Immunisation client. We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses with Immunisation qualifications.
This is a contract role from early March to late June 2024 providing flu vaccines in corporate offices / various workplaces during the traditional influenza vaccination window of mid-March through to end mid/late June.
What we are looking for:
- Registered Nurses with Nurse immuniser qualifications
- Able to work from Early March to late June 2024
- Part time hours & Full time hours (20 – 40hrs per week)
- Administration of vaccines, in accordance with the National Standards set by the National Health & Medical Research Council and the relevant state Department of Health and the guidelines, and policies and procedures
- Traveling in-between different offices/client locations throughout the day
- Maintain immunisation skills knowledge, CPR and Anaphylaxis training each year
- Maintain immunisation records, vaccine supplies and consumables
- To monitor cold chain and storage of vaccines and to report and manage any detected breach of cold chain
- Ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to avoid any incidents or wastage
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with legislative, industrial and organisational policy requirements and standards in the areas of Work Health and Safety
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Nurse immuniser qualifications
- Good computer & mobile device skills
- Current CPR certificate and anaphylaxis training
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Full Driver License
- Australia Work Rights
- Great hourly rate $54.45p/hr
- Monday to Friday (hours vary but all shifts within business hours)
- Locations within the Emerald region and travel to Bluff for a mine site.
