What we are looking for 

We’re looking for a Corporate Partnerships ManagerBusiness Developmentwith focus on high value, long-term sustainable partnerships to join our team, reporting to Senior Strategic Partnership Manager. It's an incredible chance for an individual enthusiastic about exploring fresh avenues to cultivate strategic partnerships with Australia's private sector. If you're a problem-solver, effective communicator, and persuasive negotiator, we eagerly await to hear from you! 

Your day will include

  • Implement the corporate new business strategy to acquire new partnerships for UNICEF Australia  
  • Research organisations and sectors in the Australian market with potential for prospecting  
  • Own revenue streams within new business and lead generation opportunities and populate pipeline with qualified new business prospects 
  • Develop and deliver compelling pitch presentations to prospective partners  
  • Ensure strong collaboration with program, fundraising and communications teams to enable effective engagement with the private sector and maximise opportunities to engage and secure new partners  
  • Tailor contact strategy and moves management plan for each prospective partner  
  • Manage database of prospects and leads, and support the Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships in planning  
  • Collaborate with UNICEF globally to share knowledge and strategies, and to leverage existing global resources and partnerships 
We would like you to have the following skills and experience
  • Demonstrated Business Development experience that led to achieving revenue targets  
  • Solid experience in fundraising, sales and/or Corporate Partnerships experience within the corporate or not-for-profit sectors  
  • Experienced in B2B marketing/sales and strategy development  
  • Track record in developing and delivering outstanding pitch presentations  
  • Experience working within a complex brand or product environment with a record of driving new revenue streams  
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships at senior stakeholder level  
  • Proficient in commercial acumen  
  • In depth knowledge of the private sector in Australia  
  • Willingness to work outside of Australian business hours  
  • A passionate team member with a genuine interest in working in the international aid and development sector
