About the role
Reporting directly to the Executive Assistant (EA) to the Principal, this role will provide exceptional customer service to all visitors, staff and students of the school, and to assist with a broad range of high level administrative tasks. This is a full time, permanent position to start immediately, or at the earliest available date of the successful candidate. Key accountabilities are outlined below:
- Front-of-House Reception
- Respond to visitor enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Direct incoming calls and redirect email enquiries appropriately
- Cordially welcome visitors to the school and manage the sign-in/sign-out process
- Manage distribution of mail and correspondence
- Administrative Support to EA
- Provide senior-level administrative support to the EA to the Principal including - composing written correspondence and timely responses
- Assist with various projects, including research and presentation preparation
- Contribute to planning and organising Principal events whilst maintaining confidentiality
- Procedural and Information Management
- Maintain the reception procedures manual
- Keep abreast upcoming school activities and programs to ensure accurate information is provided to parents, students and clients
- Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer/client service in a professional environment
- Senior administrative support experience where attention to detail and organisational skills are critical to your success
- First class communication and interpersonal skills - demonstrating a high level of emotional maturity and professionalism in assisting a wide range of stakeholders
- Computer software proficiency - Microsoft Office skills and the ability to pick up new software and databases
- Polished and corporate presentation – taking pride in being the first point of contact for one of Australia’s most prestigious girls’ schools
