What you will do?

• Compile Corporate Tax returns;
• Prepare tax effect accounting calculations;
• Research tax issues;
• Interpret and comply with regulations and legislation;
• Assisting with tax audits;
• Ability to understand the following tax concepts; Assessable Income, Allowable Deductions and Capital Allowances;
• Develop a basic understanding of the following tax concepts; Capital Gains Tax, Loss Provisions, Goods and Services Tax, and , Withholding Tax;; and
• Handling ATO related queries.

Essential: 

• 1-2 years in a similar role
• Business, Commerce or Finance degree 
• Strong Communication Skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload
• Competent with Excel

Desirable: 

• Business / Commerce / Finance / Law double degree with Accounting Major
