AddressWorking within our Tax team, you'll be responsible for providing advice to your stakeholders across various taxes whilst ensuring compliance is maintained.
Some of your key tasks will be:
- Prepare tax effects, income tax returns, FBT returns and review of monthly BAS’s.
- Prepare tax advice for stakeholders of the business incorporating all tax considerations (state and federal);
- Assist the Senior Taxation Manager with tax transformation projects and/or advisory work as required;
- Review whether fuel tax credits are claimable for business activities;
- Assistance in dealing with any tax office audit on Income tax, GST, Customs, FBT, Payroll tax or other tax as required;
- Reviewing tender documentation, identifying potential tax issues
- Prepare capital allowance reviews for capital assets acquired by the business;
This is an integral, hands on role that will not only require your well versed working experience in the preparation of Income Tax, GST and FBT returns; you will also be exercising your well developed analytical and problem solving skills too.
We would like you to join our team if you come with:
- Degree qualified in Accounting with CA qualification or near completion;
- Experience within public practice or in house tax function of a large corporation;
- Sound experience in Income Tax, GST, FBT and other taxes;
- Strong Excel skills;
- Global Integrator and FBT Organiser experience advantageous but not essential;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Results driven, proactive, initiative and willing to adapt to business improvement changes to increase efficiency;
- Well developed interpersonal skills with strong ability to engage with stakeholders internally and externally;
- High attention to detail;
- Hands on operator who is a team player
