This position will report directly to the Tax Manager and is an ideal opportunity for candidates from a specialist tax field to broaden their experience across corporate tax. Candidates with employment, direct or indirect tax experience are encourage to apply.
Description
As a Tax Analyst, you will collaborate with the Tax Manager and external advisers to support tax compliance and business needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure timely and accurate lodgement of all tax obligations
- GST, FBT, Payroll Tax, PAYG reporting, Fuel Tax, Au Income Tax
- Provide tax support and advice to the business.
- Identify and research tax planning opportunities.
- Assist with audits and maintain the tax fixed asset register.
- Advise on the tax implications of significant transactions (M&A and restructures).
Profile
- CA or CPA qualification.
- 5+ years of tax experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- A proactive, accountable attitude and teamwork skills.
