As a Cost Accountant, you will play a critical role in analysing and managing financial operations to ensure cost efficiency and profitability. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining cost accounting systems, preparing financial reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

Description
- Analyse and report on cost variances, identifying trends and providing actionable recommendations.
- Develop and maintain standard cost systems and procedures.
- Perform detailed cost analysis for various projects, products, and departments.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports.
- Collaborate with the operations and finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and control.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
- Support the implementation of cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.
- Provide financial insights to assist management in strategic planning and decision-making.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Working towards CA/ CPA
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in Manufacturing or FMCG.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
