We are seeking a talented Cost Controller to join the team on a permanent basis and play a key role in analysing program and project cost performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.
As a Cost Controller at you will be responsible for forecasting profitability, maintaining and enhancing program/project revenues, costs, and profitability, as well as providing analytical support to the Program/Project Manager to investigate risks and opportunities.

- Analyse program/project cost performance and communicate drivers of cost performance
- Identify risks and opportunities, working with cost account leads to monitor actual vs budget and forecast variances
- Forecast profitability and perform scenario analysis to predict the outcome of uncertain decisions and risks
- Estimate costs for the delivery of projects/programs and assist in budget preparation
- Review weekly/monthly actual vs budget and forecast reports and ensure compliance to group policies and finance reporting standards
- Experience in program/project cost analysis and forecasting would be a real benefit. However junior candidates looking for a change from assistant accountant roles are also encouraged to apply
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and communicate key business issues
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with project managers and stakeholders
- Familiarity with industry benchmarks and cost estimation techniques would be helpful
- Ability to provide logical analysis and support for program/project decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or a related field
- An accounting qualification or part-qualified CA/CPA (or similar) would be highly regarded
