As a Cost Estimator, your expertise in financial analysis and cost estimation will influence project outcomes. You'll develop methodologies and collaborate with stakeholders, driving success with precision and insight.
To succeed in this endeavour, you will:
- Collection, organisation, and validation of financial data from various sources within the project's costing tool
- Assist with developing standard costing procedures
- Identifying best practices for cost analysis, refining existing procedures based on project outcomes and evolving requirements
- Clear and effective communication regarding cost-related matters with both internal and external stakeholders
- Provide accurate cost estimates, guiding budgetary and procurement decisions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role.
We’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services firm or the Defence industry.
- Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
- Familiarity with Defence systems, policies, and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both in written and verbal form.
- You must hold a current NV1 security clearance or higher.
More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a drive to manage critical projects and programs that build sovereign capability and deliver complex things that matter.
