With continued success and growth, they are seeking a Cost Planner / Production Estimator to play a key role towards the companies continued financial success. Working within a likeable team, your skills and experience as an experienced and interpersonal Estimator will be put to good use allowing you to take on crucial tasks beyond estimating and into areas of reporting and financial analysis.
The Role:Reporting to an experienced Production Manager, you will be:
- Performing Job cost analysis to pre-construction budgets
- Producing detailed bills of quantities (BOQ’s)
- Estimating & producing accurate material & labour purchase orders
- Reviewing suppliers & assessing suitability
- Producing budget reports and making accurate variations
- Attending site meetings & liaising with a range of stakeholders
- Assisting in process changes to improve estimating efficiencies
- Keeping informed on Australian Building Code and NCC Requirements
What you'll bring:- 5+ years previous residential Estimating experience
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications (Cert IV or above)
- Strong knowledge of Australian Med-Density Construction
- Knowledge and proficiency in Databuild & Excel programs
- Strong time management & prioritising skills
- Excellent communication & attention to detail
- Ability to both work autonomously & be a team player
