Counsellor /Educator
Permanent Part-time (60.8 hours per fortnight)

About the role
The Counsellor/Educator role has both a treatment and prevention focus with the aim of reducing harm associated with alcohol and other drug (AOD) use. The successful applicant will provide professional and culturally secure AOD counselling and support to individuals, families, other service providers and local communities. We are seeking a motivated individual with experience in the alcohol and drug field.
Salaries are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010. Level 4, pay point commensurate with experience, qualifications and role.
About you
The successful application will be an experienced Counsellor who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Working within this role will suit individuals who are flexible and able to problem solve. We are seeking someone who is experienced, compassionate and can provide culturally secure counselling, education and support to consumers and their families. With experience in clinical assessments and interventions in the areas of mental health and alcohol and other drugs.
