- Develop and implement the company's renewable energy strategy in Australia in alignment with the Japanese HQ's vision and goals.
- Oversee the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and energy storage facilities.
- Manage and mentor the local team, ensuring they have the necessary resources to achieve their objectives and deliver excellent results.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape, and provide regular updates to the HQ.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, and implement effective risk management practices.
- Collaborate with other departments within the company, including finance, legal, and engineering, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Coordinate with banks and investors with support from the HQ. Prepare presentations, update the financial model of projects and other materials as required.
- Manage the budget, forecast revenue and expenses, and report regularly to the HQ.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the renewable energy industry in Australia.
- Minimum 2 years in a leadership role, including development of people, and management of teams.
- Proven track record of successfully managing operations in Australia, including project development, construction, and operation.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the Australian market and regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

- Strong financial skills, with experience of financial modelling, project finance and M&A.
- Fluent in English, with Japanese language proficiency a plus.
- Ability to travel domestically as required for the projects and internationally as required (potentially twice a year to Japan or other locations).
