Exciting opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as our Course Coordinator - Nursing!
Within this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, delivery and evaluation of innovative, customised, high quality vocational education and training for BHI students and clients.
The Course Coordinator manages teaching and business support employees along with programs to ensure high quality innovative course materials and excellent training delivery to students. Success in the position will result in a high performing and engaged team, student achievement and improved education and employment outcomes, compliance and quality education and the development of opportunities to grow market share.
The Course Coordinator is a member of the Nursing team in the Faculty of Health, Community & Life Sciences. The position is responsible for liaising with students, relevant industry groups, community services providers, overseas partners and employees at all levels.
About You:
- A relevant degree or approved AQF Level 6 or above educational qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor of Nursing and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency.
- Highly developed educational leadership expertise plus extensive management and/or teaching skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing and motivating a high performance team of teaching employees, managing performance, facilitating development and providing feedback and coaching improving productivity and performance.
- Proven experience leading and managing teaching programs that comply with relevant quality standards with a strong understanding of competency based training and assessment. Demonstrated experience applying and coaching employees on teaching methodologies, techniques and standards appropriate to subject areas.
