About the role:

We have a rare opportunity for an individual who has passion and drive for quality. The role of our Confirmation of Periodic Safety Inspector (CPSI) is crucial to the success ongoing success and Schindler lifts. You will be an individual with an interest in Product Quality and Safety as you will be inspecting our sites throughout Sydney. The role is reporting to an experienced and supporting PQ&S Manager. You will be a key resource in achieving the most reliable and highest-quality elevators and escalators in the business.

This role will be ideally suited to an experienced Service Technician in industries such as Lift, HVAC, Fire, Security, Electrical, Mechanical or similar

Key Accountabilities:

  • Inspect and assess safety compliance of lifts
  • Defining maintenance and installation standards
  • Assist in designing best practice technical processes and procedures
  • Regular maintenance / repairs accordingly to current processes and procedures
  • Driving and promoting safe workplace behaviour

What we are looking for:

  • An Electrical trade certificate and license
  • A current driver's license
  • Strong understanding of QA and EH&S systems
  • Outstanding communication skills and customer service etiquette
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Intermediate MS office suite
  • An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures
