We are currently seeking an experienced trainer and assessor with mobile crane and rigging experience to train and mentor our staff throughout the business. This role will be responsible and accountable to the MAX Academy and working closely with Depot Managers.
The Position:
- Mentoring and training both young and experienced employees
- Must be willing to travel to all company depots and projects
- Provide face-to-face training in group settings
- Provide one-on-one training in the field
- Possess High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
- Assist in the VOC process on varying cranes and assets
- Understanding of WHS relevant to operations
- Understanding of policies & procedures relevant to operations
About you:
- Demonstrated Lifting experience within the construction/ civil, resources & infrastructure or training sectors
- You will hold the necessary high-risk licences in Crane Operations and Rigging
- You will have wealth of experience in operation of mobile cranes and rigging practices across a broad range of industry sectors including mining, construction and oil & gas
- Demonstrate solid experience as a Trainer/ Assessor and hold current industry skills would be highly regarded
- Excited about passing on your knowledge and mentoring staff and training the next generation of skilled industry personnel
- Like working with a diverse group of people
- You will have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer focused and a “CAN-DO CAPABILITY” attitude.
- Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines with excellent problem-solving and organisational skill
- Professional in your approach and delivery of training
