About the Role
Due to ongoing growth, current projects, Annual Gold Coast 500 track build and exciting new projects due to commence, BSFMC needs to add to its Crane Supervisor resources. Recent additions to our fleet include - 250t, 300t Liebherr all Terrains and 2 x 280t crawlers now provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced Heavy Lift Supervisor to join the business.
In this Full-Time role, you will be at the forefront of lifting operations working closely with the existing Crane Supervisors, BDM’s and Heavy Lift Manager. The primary responsibilities include, client job inspections, providing pricing, job planning, lift supervision, lift documentation, and provide guidance to BSFMC operators and riggers. You will have strong technical crane experience, AutoCAD experience preferrable.

Your Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Safety first approach
- Job inspections and lift planning
- On the job Supervision of major lifts or projects
- Conduct prestart and toolbox meetings at work sites
- Undertake on the job safety observations and provide feedback to the crane crews
- Foster Company and team culture – lead by example
- Provide clients with pricing, lifting solutions.
- Ability to manage risks, hazards and any site incident.
Skills & Experience:
- Current exposure to Crane supervision – preferrable in SEQ
- Experience within the Construction / Hire Industry
- Heavy Lift / Major Project Experience.
- Skills using Microsoft office, Liccon, Autocad
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid high-risk licence (RI, CO), current HR Drivers licence
- High work ethic and client focused approach
- Results driven, self-motivated, Energetic and organised
- Trustworthy and professional with a strong can-do attitude
- Ability to maintain and develop relationships with existing clients and contacts.
