About the role

Laing O’Rourke has recently been appointed as Managing Contractor for the Initial Works and Early Works package of Suburban Rail Loop; the huge package of works includes preparing sites for the launch of tunnel boring machines, moving and protecting underground services, ground improvement, geotechnical investigations and roads modifications for this city-shaping project.

We are currently seeking a Crane Supervisor to join the iconic Suburban Rail Loop project. This permanent role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for supervising subcontractors to ensure lifting activities are carried out in accordance with the lifting operations in a safe manner. Your role will also be key in ensuring that assigned works within your area conforms to safety, quality and time requirements, and stays within planned milestones and budget.

About you

You will have extensive experience in a similar role, working for a Tier 1 construction contractor on large-scale projects. Experience with tower cranes, complex lifts, mobile cranes and management of rigging gear is a must.
