The Creative Arts Technician role is a permanent role offering either Full Time or Part Time (0.8) employment. Working during term time only, the succesful candidate will be joining our Creative Arts team. Through the role, the Creative Arts Assistant will work closely with, and support the team, promoting Creative Arts internally and to our broader community.
About the Role
- Opportunity to showcase and promote student works and collections to our School community through display of artworks; online gallery; publications
- Support art events which includes working on designing an exhibition layouts; installing student work; liaising with external suppliers relating to equipment hire and hospitality
- Opportunity to work across all areas of Creative Arts eg Visual Arts, Media Arts and Visual Communication Design
- FTE range 0.8-1.0 (a job share arrangement would be considered)
- Educational Support Category B
- Salary Level 2 Subdivision dependent upon experience and qualifications
About You
- Strong organisational skills
- Finely developed customer service skills
- Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to liaise across all levels and work effectively in a team
- Completed or current study in Fine Arts and/or Design/Media and/or equivalent experience
- High level of competency in ICT (in particular, the Adobe Suite)
