Creche Supervisor

We are currently in search of a crèche supervisor to come join the team at Hawkesbury YMCA. The successful candidate will be required to work between the hours of 9AM and 3PM.

About the role

Reporting to the Customer Service Coordinator, the Crèche Supervisor is responsible for the day to day running of the crèche and for assisting in the planning, programming and implementing of a caring and safe environment for the children and for ensuring the needs of the parents are adequately met. 

What you will come with: 

•    Must hold a recognised qualification, such as a degree, diploma or certificate in Child care.
•    Ability to interact with children in a positive, sensitive and respectful manner.
•    Recognition of the needs of children and the ability to nurture and support children new to the service. 
•    Ability to cope in an emergency or in a stressful situation
•    Ability to manage and supervise staff including rostering and task allocation
•    Excellent customer service, communication and the ability to effectively with children, parents, staff and management.
•    CPR Certificate
•    First Aid Certificate
