• Salary $63,768.09 - $72,746.34 per annum pro-rata depending on qualifications and experience
• Permanent, Part Time (55 hours p/fortnight) 5.5 hours per day (Monday to Friday from 7:45am – 1:45pm)

About the Role

A rare opportunity has become available for an experienced child-care supervisor to join our friendly team at Perth’s iconic Beatty Park Leisure Centre. The position is responsible for the day to day running of Beatty Park’s popular crèche facility. A key focus of the role is to provide guidance and training to, and supervision of, a small team of child care professionals in addition to providing a high level of customer service to patrons and ensuring that the children are well looked after in a warm, caring and stimulating environment.

Other key duties of the role include:

• Ensuring high quality documentation is always maintained and complies with Public Sector record keeping requirements.
• Accurately maintain enrolment and attendance records.
• Providing a clean, safe and customer focused creche environment.
• Responding to customer enquiries, feedback and requests in an efficient and professional manner.
• Organising stimulating activities that promote children’s emotional, intellectual, physical and social development.
• Preparing and implementing an effective Creche roster, meeting both budget and client needs.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking applications from experienced crèche or daycare supervisors who have a passion for working with children and providing training and support to other child care professionals. Previous experience in a similar supervisory role is essential as are a working with children check, senior first aid certificate and childcare qualification. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent customer service and supervisory skills along with well-developed interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills.
