The role:
Reporting to the Senior Credit Manager, the successful Credit Analyst will work collaboratively across the organization. In this role you will use your expert credit and relationship management skills to proactively engage with brokers and customers across Australia.
Key accountabilities:
Conduct credit assessment and decision of new applications for asset and equipment finance and working capital loans (when required) in accordance with Banjo’s credit risk policyAbility to perform bank statement credit decisioningCommunicate credit decisions to BDM’s, brokers and direct customersAbility to indicatively review credit applications and provide credit guidance to BDM’s and brokersResponding to BDM, broker and customers via phone and emailAssist Senior Credit Manager with all aspects of credit reviews, compliance and loan documentationAdherence to service level agreements (SLA’s)Ensure credit hindsight, KPI’s and quality assurance is metAd-Hoc learning and development duties as requested by the leadership teamSkills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business or finance is preferred2-3 years’ experience in banking/financial services experience, preferably with exposure to asset and equipment finance Previous DLA (delegated lending authority) of $250,000 (preferred)Basic understanding of financial statements preferred but not essentialStrong analytical skills with the ability to adapt to change Some experience in working capital products would be beneficial due to future growth in this area Commercial acumen with internal and external clientsWell-developed written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate attention to detailA proven positive, go-getter attitude with a high work ethic and a love of working in a team and having fun along the wayDemonstrates a growth mindsetResilientComfortable identifying areas for improvement (i.e., problems/challenges) but also the potential solutions/ideas for themDesire to grow into more senior roles in the future and an interest in business more generally beyond Credit approvals
