Key Responsibilities:
- Debt Collection and Reconciliation: Efficiently collect and reconcile debtors and cash-on-delivery (COD) accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
- Daily Banking: Handle daily banking activities, including cash receipts and deposits, to maintain accurate financial records.
- Credit Management: Process credit applications, gather necessary information, set up new accounts, and manage credit limit increases in compliance with company policies.
- Support to Credit Manager: Assist the Credit Manager in day-to-day management tasks and month-end procedures to ensure smooth operations of the credit function.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales and production teams to address outstanding items, resolve queries, and maintain effective communication channels.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in credit control or a related financial role.
- Strong understanding of debt collection processes and credit management principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Experience in the construction industry is a must
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel).
