WOW Recruitment is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer for an immediate start to support our industry-leading transport and Logistics client, on a 3-month temporary basis, based in Liverpool, Sydney.

What you will be doing?
- Participate in the Credit Application & Assessment and Customer Onboarding process.
- Ensure all Customer Billing Documentation is delivered accurately and on time.
- Provide complete and accurate payment allocations & reconciliations within the Customer Receipting process.
- Ensure support and compliance to the Cash Forecasting procedure.
- Deliver high calibre Accounts Collections and Risk Mitigation activities, enhancing working capital and minimising doubtful and bad debt.
- Deliver on Customer Terms Compliance and Performance, including order hold management.
- Escalate Trade Debtor Poor Performance and participate in analysis and action plans delivering correction and resolution.
- Prepare and participate in all Ledger Performance Reviews against standard business processes, policy and practices.
- Participate in ongoing robust Customer Risk Assessment program.
- Deliver a high standard/high priority Customer Service platform, ensuring exception customer experience.
- Participate in all activities associated with credit management Continuous Improvements, inclusive of Eliminate (waste) Standardise (formalise), Simplify (touchpoints) and Automate (systems).
- Engage in a ‘Business Partnering’ culture through strong collaborative relationships and engagement with key stakeholders.
- Adherence to all activities recorded within the AR Working Calendar.
- Participate in all Audit requirements, both internal and external.
- 3 -5 + years solid experience in Accounts Receivable/Credit Controller position.
- Experience in using ERP ststems.
- Proficiency in MS Office in particular spreadsheets and proprietary software.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
- A team player with demonstrated commitment to work as part of a team with a can-do attitude.
- Willingness to drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage/organise own time.
